Note that these steps are completely optional, and by default, you will receive calls, texts, and emails for notifications. However, if you would like to modify your preferences to only receive texts instead of calls, or calls instead of texts etc. then you can do so by following these instructions. Note that if you prefer text only, that you'll want to also keep either email or phone enabled, as text messages are limited to a small number of characters, and do not always include all of the information that the phone and email notifications include.

To modify your preferences, first visit the website go.schoolmessenger.com and choose "Sign up" in the top right corner. Then enter the your email address that you received your last SchoolMessenger annoucement with, this is the email that we have on file for your SchoolMessenger account. Once you Sign up, you can then click the 3 line menu icon in the top left corner and then click preferences to change your notification settings.

In the following example, I have disabled phone calls for attendance notifications.
