Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden at the Springfield Museums. NEA's Read Across America: The National Education Association is building a nation of readers through its signature program, NEA's Read Across America. Now in its thirteenth year, this year-round program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources.

Monday: Bandana / eye patch day Tuesday: Peter Pan Character Day, Wednesday: Red/white/black day (stripes), Thursday: Beads and Jewels day, Friday: Full out Pirate Gear Activities:@FHS &FMS Door Decorating with the theme "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" 7th Grade: Read Across America Incentive Program. H.S. Living Skills baking cakes for Dr. Seuss' birthday. HS students reading to MS school students during activity period on Wednesday. Thursday: Mrs. Lloyd' class - Joe Hauser visits to read 'Stone Soup'. Places Contest: Pick up a form in the library and locate these famous places using latitude and longitude coordinates. |
